Welcome to our home in what began as the guest house for the historic Moody’s Ice Harvesting business in the late 1800s on Fernald’s Basin. It is a body of water created by a strip of land for the Cotton Rail Trail bringing visitors to Wolfeboro. We transformed our home into an eclectic 2 bedroom arts and craft inspired cabin with 2 bedrooms, a full bath, walk out lower level media room and laundry, and open main level living and small chefs kitchen with island, granite tops duel fuel stove and beautiful cabinets.Walls of windows frame an ever changing and always inspiring views of the Basin with Lake Wentworth and Copple Crown beyond. Plenty of level grounds, English gardens, fire pit to enjoy the good life on the lake. Use our kayaks, paddle board, and canoes.
This is Mother Nature’s resting spot with all kinds of wildlife from eagles, great blue heron, otter, loons and ducks to entertain you. All this yet less than two miles to Lake Winnipesaukee and downtown Wolfeboro and in the heart of the Lakes Region. Enjoy.
