Lake Waukewan is a 928-acre Oligotrophic Lake located in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. It is a little known yet beautiful lake very close to the much more known Lake Winnipesaukee. in Belknap County in the Lakes Region of central New Hampshire, in the towns of Meredith and New Hampton. The northern shores of the lake touch the town of Center Harbor Water from Lake Waukewan flows from under the parking lot at the Mill Falls Marketplace in Meredith, between buildings and to Lake Winnipesaukee. There have been many times that the annual fishing derby and ice hockey competitions are hosted on this lake if Winnipesaukee turns out to be risky with shallow ice.
