New Hampshire Lakes over 100 Acres
Many people feel that a lake that is clear lake is cleaner than a tea color lake. This is not true. The tea color is caused from natural causes including the presence of granite, leaves and other naturally causing elements.
There are many factors that contribute to the clarity of a lake including size, depth, if it is spring fed, the amount of boat traffic and time of year. New Hampshire is proud of the management of their Lakes as well as the many lake associations created to help monitor them.
