11 State Route 32Bristol, ME 04554Price: $399,000

This historic home is loaded with charm and personality in a location that is hard to beat in the heart of New Harbor Village. There are hardwood and pumpkin pine floors throughout the home, lots of room for family and friends, and the kind of warm feeling that you can only get with an antique home such as this. There is HUGE open back yard, a one-car garage, and big attached barn. Walk to Shaws on Rt. 32, the Contented Sole through a woods path (so I'm told), and "The Hill" is literally just around the corner. Many, many years ago (well before my time) it was the local store and some details still show through with herring bone hardwood floors and a ceiling to match! Most recently used as a as a year-round primary home with tenants in the attached apartment and the seasonal in-law apartment over the barn only used now and then. The house JUST underwent a scrub down and fresh up with paint throughout and needed repairs and updates. It will be move-in ready by November 14, but is being offered up now at a reduced price to reflect several items that still need to be completed: mainly some exterior trim painting, but it also could use a new fridge and dishwasher. Yes, the kitchen is dated, but it is also adorable and fully functional. This is an older home with old-house quirks: the floors are crooked in places, there's an old unused outhouse is in the barn, and still some pull-chain ceiling lights! It is an absolutely beautiful home, painted out, move-in ready, and income producing. The square footage is estimated and will be updated on Monday. There is a first floor room that connects the primary home to the apartment, so it would be easy to use the home as a single family residence if you so desire, but this will also be listed as a multi-unit as the Town has it recorded as such. Feel free to drive by, but it is being worked on so there is construction debris messing up the curb appeal :)
