Main house originally built in 1930 was raised up & placed on a full poured foundation in 1974+-. Many improvements done over the years including switching from electric heat to Oil Hot Water Baseboard heat & new flooring this year as well as other cosmetic improvements. It has a good sized kitchen w/ brand new refrigerator, electric range and new flooring. Freshly painted cabinets - thoroughly cleaned. Spacious living room W/ a hearth for a woodstove ( that stays) but woodstove should be on a separate flue than boiler so it has a thimble covering the inlet. Large room or family room facing the lake, makes for more living space and has a separate zone for the baseboard oil hot water heat. Home has been loved and has all the charm for a warm, cozy feeling. There is another structure on the property. The other building is called the 'Camp'. The 462 sq. ft.Camp needs work to be used for living space and was lived in for years by other family members and guests. Wooden frame structure on rocks and posts. Such potential! It can be so cute! Has a mudroom entry, living room with a fireplace, bath and a kitchen with a small sink and a large walk up sleeping loft. Wall heater in the living room and a direct vent heater in the kitchen, which would need to be hooked back up to a fuel source. Just 15 minutes to the Maine Turnpike and 10 minutes to shopping! Such a great location that is extremely private and has a very level lot w/ a stairway down to the lake.
