Wesley is well known for its wild blueberries and the production of those in August comes before everything else. It's a fast moving quick season and its all about the berries! The area was well known for its logging history, there were many woods camps for that along with sawmills and river drives on the Machias River. The town has a wonderful little historical society based in the old Wesley Corner School on Rt 9.
