Scotts Bog Pond - Pittsburg
SAF-C 402.69 - No person shall operate a motorboat on Scotts Bog in Pittsburg.
Shawtown Pond - Freedom
SAF-C 402.70 - No petroleum-powered boat shall be operated on Shawtown Pond in Freedom.
Silver Lake - Harrisville/Nelson
RSA 270:74 - Skicraft banned 10/01/88.
SAF-C 402.71 - On Saturdays and Sundays no person shall operate a motorboat at greater than headway speed on Silver Lake in Harrisville and Nelson. However, this restriction shall not apply between 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m.
Silver Lake - Hollis
SAF-C 402.72 - No person shall operate a motorboat at a speed exceeding 10 MPH on Silver Lake in Hollis. However, this restriction shall not apply between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, and between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, inclusive.
Silver Lake - Madison

RSA 270:132 - The Division of State Police shall institute a no-wake order encompassing all of Silver Lake whenever the department of Environmental Services gauging station on Silver Lake measures 467.0 feet or more above sea level. The order shall remain in effect until the measure falls below 467.0 feet.

RSA 270:87 - No person shall operate any boat equipped with a petroleum-powered motor on Smith Meetinghouse Pond in Gilmanton.
Spectacle Pond - Enfield/Grafton
RSA 270:105 - No person shall use or operate any powerboat equipped with any type of power motor in excess of 10 HP on Spectacle Pond in Enfield and Grafton.
Spectacle Pond - Groton/Hebron
RSA 270:96-I. No person shall use or operate any powerboat equipped with any petroleum powered motor upon the waters of Spectacle Pond in the towns of Groton and Hebron; provided, however, that on July 1, 1986, the contiguous property owners of the Pond who own and operate petroleum-powered motors not in excess of 7.5 HP on said pond may continue to do so upon application and demonstration of hardship to the Department of Safety as provided in para.II. II. The Department of Safety may, upon application, issue hardship permits to persons physically handicapped as defined in
RSA 275-CI,II, and to landowners whose property abuts Spectacle Pond and is not served by an access road.
III. The operator of the exempted boat shall present such a permit to anyone who requests to inspect it.
IV. The Department of Safety shall enforce a ban of petroleum powered motor craft on Spectacle Pond in the towns of Groton and Hebron.
SAF-C 402.73 - No person shall operate a motorboat at a speed exceeding 10 MPH on Spectacle Pond in Groton and Hebron.
Spofford Lake - Chesterfield
RSA 270:116 - No person shall use or operate any power boat, motorboat, or boat equipped with any type of power motor at a speed exceeding 40 MPH during daylight hours and 20 MPH during night hours on Spofford Lake in Chesterfield. As used in this section, "daylight hours" means the hours between one-half hour before sunrise and one-half hour after sunset and "night hours" means the hours one-half hour after sunset and one half hour before sunrise.
Spoonwood Pond - Nelson/Hancock
RSA 270:74 - Skicraft banned 10/01/88.
RSA 270:127 - No person shall operate any boat equipped with any motor, except an electric motor with 50 pounds or less of thrust and a power source of 24 volts or less, on Spoonwood Pond.
Squam Lake - Holderness/Ashland
RSA 270:74, IV - Skicraft banned 10/01/88.
RSA 270:77 - No person shall, at any time, place in, on, use or operate any houseboat, on Squam Lake.
RSA 270:108 - No person shall water ski within Rattlesnake Cove or Inner and Outer Squaw Coves on Squam Lake.
SAF-C 402.74 a) No person shall operate a vessel at a speed exceeding 6 MPH on the Squam River in Holderness between the southerly end of the boathouse in Little Squam Lake near the Holderness bridge and the light buoy at the lower or westerly end Squam Lake.
b) No person shall operate a vessel at a speed exceeding 6 MPH in the Squam River in Ashland.
c) No person shall operate a vessel at a speed exceeding 10 MPH on Bean Cove and Nichols Cove on Squam Lake.
d) No person shall operate a motorboat at a speed exceeding 40 MPH during daylight hours and 20 MPH during the night on Squam Lake.
e) An area extending from the Sandwich Town Beach 300 feet to the southern tip of Camp Hale on Squam Lake shall be a no wake area.
f) On Squam Lake, the channel between Bowman Island and Moon Island shall be a no wake area.
g) From June 15 to Sept. 15, on Sunday between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. that portion of Squam Lake in the channel between Chocorua Island, also known as Church Island at light 5 and Merrill Island at light 6 shall be a no wake area.
h) That portion of Squam Lake known as Rattlesnake Cove in the town of Sandwich shall be a "no wake" area.
i) That portion of Squam Lake known as Squaw Cove in the town of Sandwich shall be a "no wake" area.
Stinson Lake - Rumney

Stocker Pond - Grantham

Stonehouse Pond - Barrington
SAF-C 402.76 - No person shall operate any boat powered by gasoline, naphtha or any other petroleum products on Stonehouse Pond in Barrington.
Stratford Bog Pond - Stratford
SAF-C 402.75 - No person shall operate any boat powered by gasoline, naphtha or any other petroleum products on Stratford Bog Pond in Stratford.
Sunapee, Lake - New London
RSA 270:74-a - All Skicraft operation, including operation at headway speed, within one fourth mile of the public water intake pipe located in Sunapee Harbor banned effective 5/21/90.
SAF-C 402.77 - a) Sunapee Harbor, westerly from a line running northerly from the dock at Indian Cave Lodge, so called, shall be a "no wake" area.
b) No person shall operate a vessel at a speed exceeding 6 MPH in Burkehaven northwesterly of a line running northeasterly from the boathouse on Emerald Island through the barrel light to the shore of Liberty Island.
c) No person shall operate a vessel at a speed exceeding 10 MPH on that section of Sunapee Lake at Georges Mills Bay northwesterly from a line running southerly from the camp of John F. Seekamp on the northeasterly shore to the camp of Ernest Huber on the southwesterly shore.
d) No person shall operate a vessel at a speed exceeding 6 MPH in Gardiner Bay west of a line between Weather's dock on the south and Chamberlin's boat house on the north.
e) That portion of Sunapee Lake, beginning at light 12 and running northwesterly into and including George's Mills Harbor shall be a "no wake" area.
f) That portion of Lake Sunapee in the town of Newbury, from the eastern end at tax map #20, lot #122-475 to the western end at tax map #20, lot #323-437 measuring approximately 500 feet from shoreline to shoreline and 700 feet from the beginning of the proposed line to the southern most shoreline at the town of Newbury public dock shall be a "no wake" zone.
SAF-C 407.03b - Rafting as defined in RSA 270:42, V, shall be prohibited in the following areas of Lake Sunapee unless covered by one of the exceptions specified in RSA 270:45:
(1) Along the eastern shore beginning at Owl's Nest Point, running northeast to a point off Soo Nipi Road, a distance of approximately 2,800 feet.
(2) Along the front of the John Hay National Wildlife Refuge in Newbury.
(3) Rafting shall be prohibited in the vicinity of 2000 feet north northeast of Twin Islands, adjacent to the red top spar buoy in Georges Mills.

Sunset Lake (aka Gould Pond) - Greenfield
SAF-C 402.78 - (a) No person shall operate a motorboat on Sunset Lake in Greenfield at a speed exceeding 10 MPH. However, this restriction shall not apply between 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. or sunset, whichever occurs first, on Monday through Saturday, both inclusive, and further provided during the restricted hours, motorboats shall not be operated at a speed exceeding 30 MPH.
(b) All waterskiing on Sunset Lake shall be in a counter-clockwise direction during the unlimited hours.
Sunset Lake - Hampstead
RSA 270:74-a - Skicraft banned 12/31/89.
SAF-C 402.79 All persons operating motorboats on that portion of Sunset Lake in the town of Hampstead, in excess of headway speed shall travel in a counterclockwise direction around Sunset Lake, while keeping a minimum distance of 150 feet from other boats, swimmers, rafts, docks and shore. This provision shall exclude powerboats being used for emergency situations where a direct line of travel is required and appropriate.
Swains Lake - Barrington
